SmartDriver UG Mobile Application

Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the SmartDriver UG mobile application, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our app.
This agreement is between you ("User," "you") and SmartDriver UG / bakartek.com ("we," "our," "us").
1. Eligibility
To use SmartDriver UG, you must:
• Be at least 16 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
2. License and Access
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Restrictions
You may not:
• Modify, copy, or distribute the app
• Reverse engineer or decompile the software
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be the sole user of your account
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate terms
Account Security
• Choose a strong, unique password
• Do not share your credentials
• Report any security breaches immediately
4. User Content and Conduct
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app responsibly and:
• Post accurate information in job listings
• Report inappropriate or fraudulent content
• Respect other users' privacy
• Follow community guidelines
Prohibited Activities
• Posting false or misleading information
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Attempting to access unauthorized areas
• Using automated systems to access the app
• Distributing malware or viruses
5. Educational Content
Content Accuracy

• Content is for educational purposes only
• Information should not replace professional driving instruction
• Always follow official Uganda driving regulations
• Consult official UDLS resources for exam preparation
No Guarantee
• We do not guarantee passing driving tests
• Learning outcomes depend on individual effort
• Content is subject to change without notice
6. Driving Schools and Jobs
Directory Listings
• School information is provided by third parties
• We are not responsible for school quality or services
• Verify credentials before enrolling
Job Postings
• Users post jobs at their own discretion
• We are not responsible for job accuracy or legitimacy
• Exercise caution and verify employer information
• Report fraudulent postings immediately
Disclaimer
We are not liable for any disputes between users and schools/employers.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Free Service
SmartDriver UG offers a free tier with essential features.
Premium Features
• Premium subscriptions unlock additional content
• Pricing and terms are displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are subject to platform policies (Google Play/App Store)
8. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
• All app content, features, and functionality are owned by SmartDriver UG
• Trademarks, logos, and branding are protected
• Original educational content is copyrighted
User Content
• You retain rights to content you post
• You grant us a license to use posted content
• You are responsible for respecting others' IP rights
9. Privacy and Data
Your use of the app is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using SmartDriver UG, you consent to:
• Collection and use of your information as described
• Data processing for app functionality
• Communications about app features and updates
10. Disclaimers
"AS IS" Service
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
No Warranties
We do not warrant that:
• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The app is virus-free
• Results will meet your expectations
Educational Disclaimer

11. Limitation of Liability

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.
12. Termination
By You
• Delete your account anytime from app settings
• Data will be removed per our Privacy Policy
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• We discontinue the service
• Required by law
Effect of Termination
• Access to the app will be revoked
• Certain provisions survive termination
• We are not liable for termination consequences
13. Changes to Terms

• Changes will be posted in the app
• Continued use constitutes acceptance

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ugandan courts.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SmartDriver UG.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations.
